U4N Guide to the New ARC Raiders Expedition System

Mensaje por adonisSDF »

The fifth Expedition introduces a number of important changes for ARC Raiders, giving players more control over progression while providing additional time to complete their objectives. The developers are responding to feedback by introducing an optional quest reset, extending the Expedition window, and removing Last Call. Raiders who want to be ready should review their supplies and ARC Raiders Coins early instead of waiting until the Expedition window is nearly closed.

Start With the Caravan
The Caravan remains an important part of Expedition preparation. Players can contribute to it after completing the previous Expedition, while first-time participants can begin their contributions immediately. This allows much of the preparation to happen before the official Expedition period begins.

One detail deserves special attention: finishing the Caravan does not automatically register a player for the Expedition. Raiders must still sign up during the official window. Treating Caravan completion and Expedition registration as separate tasks will help prevent an avoidable missed departure.

Use the Longer Window
The fifth Expedition opens on September 8 at 1pm CEST, 11am UTC, or 4am PT. It closes on September 29 at 10am CEST, 8am UTC, or 1am PT. The resulting three-week window is an extension from the previous two-week period.

The additional week should provide more flexibility for players who need to balance Expedition objectives with regular gameplay. Raiders can use the extra time to complete the challenge, catch up on missed progression, and avoid unnecessary last-minute pressure.

Keep Quest Progress If You Prefer
The optional quest reset is designed to address one of the more common frustrations with repeated Expeditions. Previously, resetting the quest line could make returning to the same objectives feel repetitive. With the new system, players can choose to keep their progress and continue from where they stopped.

The Hullcracker Blueprint is an important consideration here because it is connected to the quest line. To ensure players who preserve their progress can still access the Blueprint, alternative acquisition methods will be made available. This should make the new progression choice more practical for different playstyles.

Recover Missed Skill Points
Returning players also have access to a catch-up opportunity for missed skill points. Raiders participating in their second, third, or fourth Expedition can recover up to five missed skill points per Expedition.

This system gives players a useful way to address gaps without requiring them to completely redo previous progression. Combined with the longer Expedition window, it creates a more forgiving structure for players who may not have been able to maximize earlier cycles.

Register Before It Closes
The removal of Last Call is perhaps the simplest change to understand but one of the easiest to overlook. Raiders cannot rely on a final registration opportunity after the normal window closes. Everyone who signs up successfully will depart on September 29, making timely registration essential.

Players planning to ARC Raiders BluePrints collections should also organize their progression goals before the Expedition begins. A clear plan for the Caravan, quest path, challenge, and registration can make the entire cycle easier to manage while leaving more time for actual gameplay.
